Feed Nutrition

By combing performance and health security, feed is a main axis of improvement to increase profitability of rabbit farming. Feed for rabbits is based on specificities associated with their eating behaviour, their digestive physiology, and their rearing management. It requires the use of nutritional standards (digestible energy, proteins, fibre profile . . .), and a panel of suitable raw materials and distribution strategies (variety of feed, feed transitions, practices of restricted feeding…).
